Malta Mile Presented By Roundabout Runners & Town of Malta

The race starts at 10AM in from of the Town of Malta Veteran's Appreciation Day Parade

The start line is just past the intersection of Bayberry & Route 9.

The race will occur in front of the parade. The Town of Malta will be coordinating with state, county and local law enforcement and fire departments to close Route 9 and all intersections.

Packet pick up at the Town of Malta Community Center at 1 Bayberry Drive. Pick up  will be on the morning of the event (5/18) starting at 8:45AM

The Roundabout Runners Club is a 501c3 that partners with the Town of Malta to keep the sidewalks and bike paths clear and safe during the winter months.

 We will provide awards for overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishers for men and women categories. 

The event will also have the following age group awards  0-9 10-14 15-19 20-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60-69- 70-79 80+ 

Award ceremony will commence between 10:15 & 10:30am

For this event we want to ensure all participants feel safe where there are ridges and hill climbs.  We will follow the Road Runners Club of America policy not allow dogs to be run with participants during this race.  https://www.rrca.org/education/event-directors/headphones-stroller-and-pet-guidelines/ 

We will work with our timer to post after the race during the price ceremony with our friends at UnderDog timing. We will also be sharing to all participants via post race summary email. Results will also be shard via social media. @maltamile @roundaboutrunnersclub.
