The Malta Mile Race course begins at the Malta Community Center and quickly wraps around the roundabout at Dunning/Route 9 and 67. Finishes up in front of Bowled in Ellsworth Commons. Proceeds of the run go to help offset the maintenance of the bike paths in the winter months.
The race starts at 10AM in from of the Town of Malta Veteran's Appreciation Day Parade
The start line is just past the intersection of Bayberry & Route 9.
The race will occur in front of the parade. The Town of Malta will be coordinating with state, county and local law enforcement and fire departments to close Route 9 and all intersections.
Packet pick up at the Town of Malta Municipal building at 2540 Route 9. Pick up will be on the morning of the event (5/20) starting at 8:45AM
The Roundabout Runners Club is a 501c3 that partners with the Town of Malta to keep the sidewalks and bike paths clear and safe during the winter months.
We will provide awards for overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishers for men and women categories.
The event will also have the following age group awards 0-9 10-14 15-19 20-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60-69- 70-79 80+
Award ceremony will commence at 10:30am
No. This is not a certified, but we did our best to repeatedly measure the distance and adjusted the finish line to be as close to a mile as possible

For this event we want to ensure all participants feel safe where there are ridges and hill climbs.
